Many neurodivergent people struggle with keeping track of their important tasks or papers. This often hinders their ability to perform their tasks on the most efficient schedule, as well as causing them to forget a lot of important documents or lose track of them when they are not properly stored. This is often an issue that some of us have personally struggled with, which is why we wanted to figure out a common issue that is also strongly associated with the struggles of those with cognitive disabilities.

The second round took the same core idea and pushed it into something closer to a real product, swapping the cardboard for a sturdier wooden stick frame while keeping the parchment paper diffuser that gave the lamp its soft welcoming glow. The bigger leap was connecting the lamp to the Internet of Things through a companion app that maps every active light across the city in real time, letting people plan a lit route home before they step outside. What started as a single object slowly became a small safety network, and that shift is where the project's UX thinking really comes through.
